Mrs. Adeyemi is a graduate of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she also obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
She began her career at the Office of the Accountant General, Lagos State, where she worked in various departments, including Loans and Advances, Reconciliation, and Statistics. Her diligence and efficiency earned her a posting to the Teaching Service Commission as Head of Accounts at the Kosofe Local Education District, where she oversaw the preparation and disbursement of salaries for teachers and pensioners.
In 2001, Mrs. Adeyemi transitioned into the insurance sector, joining Universe Reinsurance Company Limited. She rose to the position of Senior Manager in the Finance and Administration Department.
She joined Sterling Assurance Nigeria Limited in 2007 and has served in several roles within the Finance and Administration Department, including Head of the Treasury and Investment Unit. She currently serves as Assistant General Manager, overseeing the Internal Audit and Risk Management functions of the company.
